NEET 2018 is a national level medical entrance exam being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. All MC/DCI approved medical and dental colleges in India except AIIMS and JIPMER have to accept NEET 2018 rank only for admission. Candidates may please note that there are some changes in the exam this year. Some of the government and Deemed university also consider NEET Qualification  for B.Pharm Admission. So please read this page carefully and also read information brochure before applying.

New points in NEET 2018
1. Age limit has been again introduced. Now upper age limit is 25 years for general candidates, and 30 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates. General candidate born between 07.05.1993 and 01.01.2002, and SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates born between 07.05.1988 and 01.01.2002 are eligible. However recently Delhi High Court has given interim relief to upper age limit. Final hearing is in April. Candidates can fill form even if they are older, but their final eligibility will be decided upon the final hearing results.
2. Attempts limit removed. Till last year there was an attempts limit of 3 in NEET.
3. Open school candidates and private candidates are not eligible.
4. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh  have joined NEET system. Their 15% all India quota seats are now added for admission through NEET. Therefore candidates belonging to TS & AP are also eligible for 15% AIQ seats now.

How to apply?
You can apply for NEET 2018 by considering following steps.
1.Fill the online application form. Then note down registration number.

2.Upload photograph as well as signature.

3.Pay application fee in any one mode.

4. Now you can print confirmation page and fee payment proof.

Application form submission in online mode started on: 08 Feb 2018

Application form submission in online mode ends on: 09 Mar 2018

Candidates can pay fee until: 10 Mar 2018

Availability of application form correction from: 12 Mar 2018

Last date for application form correction: 16 Mar 2018

Admit Card issue date: April 2018 (second week)

Date of exam : 06 May 2018

Eligibility:Educational qualification: You should pass physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, english individually in qualifying exam. Also you should have at least 50% aggregate in PCB. If you belong to SC/ST/OBC category then minimum marks requirement is 40%. If you belong o UR-PH category then it is 45%. For SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH, minimum marks requirement is 40% only.

NEET 2018 Exam Pattern

(i) No. of Question: Total 180 questions
(ii) Exam Mode: offline mode (pen and paper based mode).
(iii) Type of Question: Objective type questions
(iv) Subjects: Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Zoology & Botany)
(v) Exam Duration: 3 hours.
(vi) Language: framing of question paper shall be in the following languages including- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
(vii) Marking Scheme: +4 marks for correct answer
(vii) Negative Marking: -1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer
