Scholarship Policy for students of MBA (HHM/PM/DM) admitted for the academic session 2026-2028
IIHMR University, Jaipur envisages granting scholarships in the form of tuition fee waiver to prospective MBA students based on academic merit. IIHMR University also offer full tuition fee reimbursement to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS on need cum merit basis. The policy/guidelines for granting scholarships are as under:
MBA Hospital and Health Management
The Merit Scholarships will be awarded to students applying for MBA HM as per the following details on meeting any one of the given eligibility criteria and score obtained in the admission process:
For General Category Students
- Eligibility Criteria: The Merit Scholarship will be awarded to students based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria and on first come first serve:
- 60% or above aggregate marks in MBBS (OR)
- 65% or above aggregate marks in BDS/ AYUSH/BPT (OR)
- 80% or above aggregate marks in any other bachelor’s degree (OR)
- 55 percentile or above in CAT/ XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/ATMA
For SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS students
- Eligibility Criteria: The Merit Scholarship will be awarded to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS category and based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria and on first come first serve:
- 55% or above aggregate marks in MBBS (OR)
- 60% or above aggregate marks in BDS/ AYUSH/BPT (OR)
- 75% or above aggregate marks in any Bachelor’s degree (OR)
- 50 percentile or above in CAT/ XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/ATMA
Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 each student
Freeships:
- Under freeships, full tuition fee reimbursement will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS (Economically Weaker section) on need cum merit basis.
- Total Number of Freeships available: 4 (2 seat for SC, ST, OBC- NC and 2 seat for EWS)
- Eligibility Criteria:Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS category are eligible for award of Full Tuition Fee Scholarship for all MBA programs. Full fee scholarship will be offered to selected students based on combined merit (Including all rounds of GD & PI) prepared after completion of all rounds of GD PI. Candidates whose family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs/annum are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver.
- Amount of Freeship: Rs. 8,20,000 each student
Terms & Conditions
- The Full Tuition Fee Waivers may be awarded to deserving students, subject to a maximum of 5% of the students admitted.
- The award shall be based on an assessment of the financial need, considering the total family income and the economic condition of the family.
- The awardees would get a full waiver of the Tuition Fees.
Other Terms and Conditions
- The University reserves the right to add, withdraw or modify any of the criteria, amount and count for all scholarship details mentioned above at any time. Decision of the University will be final regarding award of scholarships to the deserving candidates. The Academic Department of the University will maintain the records related to the grant of scholarships.
- Every candidate wishing to apply for the freeships shall be required to submit latest SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy layer/EWS Certificate from a competent authority. Candidates from the SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy layer/EWS have to determine their eligibility for gaining scholarship as per the prevalent Rules and Regulations of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- The Scholarship may be discontinued at any time for any kind of misconduct by the student, like involving in the act of ragging, misbehavior etc. on the recommendations of the Head of the University.
