Application are invited for the post Raja Jwala prasad Post- Doctoral Fellowship with a fellowship amount of Rs. 60,000/- pm and HRA of Rs. 10,000/- Per Month, sanctioned under Institution of Eminence (IoE) Scheme of BHU for the duration of one year. In addition, a contingency amount of Rs. 50,000 per annum will be provided. Fellows will have access to comprehensive benefits, including health service, library, and excess of other resources, as per BHU rules. The Position is purely temporary and co – terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification: The candidate should have Phd Degree (Botany/Life Science/Biotechnology/Biochemsitry/Bioscience/Plant Science/Plant Molecular biology or any related field) from Indian University/Institutes with NIRF ranking of upto 20 (overall or in respective areas) or those who have done PhD from abroad will be eligible. The candidates must have proven track record with published work at least two papers in Q1 or Q2 journals or SCOPUS/ Web of Science listed journals. The upper Age limit is 45 years (5 years relaxation for Female/ SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped Candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Desired Qualification: Candidate with technical research experience in the area of proteomics, physiology, molecular stress biology, molecular biology and having technical expertise in techniques like qPCR, Gel based proteomics, Western Blotting, Pulse amplitude modulation (PAM), fluorometry and experience of handling and growing of Arabidopsis thaliana with evidence of original research publications will be preferred.
