Project Title : Targeting Rab27a-Mediated Extracellular Vesicle Signaling and Microtuble Dynamics to Promote functional Axonal regeneration in Spinal Cord injury
Principle Investigator : Dr. Hemant Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology
Engagement Tenure : Initially for a period of 01 year/availability of fund. Renewals for a maximum additional period of 02 years, subject to satisfactory performance each year, availability of funds, and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
Salary : (i) 37,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through(a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Essential Qualification : Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / В.Pharm or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desired Work Experience : Ideal candidates must possess experience in mammalian cell culture, proficiency in molecular biology techniques (qPCR, Western blotting, immunostaining), and a fundamental understanding of extracellular vesicle isolation and characterization. Experience with rodent handling and neurobiology models, coupled with proficiency in data analysis and scientific writing, will be beneficial.
Other Terms & Conditions : The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.
