Information About KCET-2019

Conducting Authority: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore, is approved body to conduct the KCET exam yearly.

Admission: The seats for institute in karnataka are allocated  on the basis of merit ranking and category of the candidates appearing for the KCET 2019. This exam open the door of admission  to nearly 220 leading government, private colleges and institutes in the Karnataka state.  Every year more than a lakh of students appear in the KCET exam.Numer of participant increased every year.

Courses: KCET 2019 offers undergraduate courses  in following fields such as

  • B.Pharma
  • Pharma-D
  • B.E./B.Tech.
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry
  • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
  • Forest, Sericulture
  • Agriculture Biotech
  • Horticulture
  • Bachelor of Home Science

Exam Mode : KCET 2019 examination format will be offline mode (Pen and Paper Based test) and there will be four papers to be attempted on two different days in 2 sessions each day which candidates have to clear in the KCET 2019 exam.

Medical Science: Candidates who are aspiring to do Medical/Dental courses (MBBS/BDS), AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Homoeopathy) then they have to write NEET 2019 conducted by NTA. On the Basis of NEET score/Rank students can get admission.

Architecture Engineering: Candidates opting for Architecture engineering courses have to take up JEE paper-2 or NATA 2019 which is conducted by the Council of Architecture.
