Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., has successfully launched Doxycycline Hyclate Tablet USP, 100
mg in United States dated 19 January 2018. The product is approved by USFDA on 11
September 2017. It is a generic equivalent of Pfizer Inc.’s Vibra-Tabs®, 100 mg, indicated for
treatment of several microbial infections and as an adjunctive therapy in certain acne.
According to IMS MAT November 2017, Doxycycline Hyclate Tablet USP, 100 mg had annual
sales of approximately USD 144 million in the US.
