PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST by UGC Government of India
The Scheme has been initiated keeping in view the social background of the candidates from their studies in Professional subjects like Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy etc. in Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to 1000 SC/ST candidates to pursue postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects at recognized Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges.

University Grants Commission (UGC) Government of India.
Eligibility criteria
Graduation Degree in the relevant subject and admission at Post graduate level for regular full time course in any of the Professional subjects in a recognized University/ Institution/ College.
Benefits of scholarship/Award
- Tech: Scholarship : Rs. 7800/- per month
Contingency : Rs. 15,000/- per month
- Others: Scholarship : Rs. 4500/- per month
Contingency : Rs. 10,000/- per month
Application Procedure
The application in the prescribed format should be duly forwarded by the University/Institutions/Colleges where the fellow is pursuing his/her Post Graduate course.
