ABOUT PROGRAMME
ISF College of Pharmacy is offering an interactive Green Chemistry & Engineering faculty development programme held from 16th December 2019 to 20th December 2019 in ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga, Punjab for development of faculty of various colleges and industries. The theme of the programme cum workshop is “Applications of Recent Green Chemistry Techniques for Synthesis and Analysis of Pharmaceuticals”.
The aim is to provide lectures and hands on training on following topics:
• An Introduction to Green Chemistry & Engineering to Pharmaceuticals
• Understanding the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry
• Green Chemistry Education Outreach
• Applications of Green Chemistry
• Greening Your Research
• Green Catalysis
• Reduction in waste generation
• Green Polymers
• Design of chemicals, novel chemistries, synthetic pathways, and processes that enable a circular, more
sustainable economy.
The workshop will cover the hands-on training on microwave synthesizer, quantitative analysis through FT-IR, HPTLC, waste reduction techniques etc.
ELIGIBILITY
At least 25 participants out of 40 shall be from IKPTU Affiliated Institutes. Rest Participants can be from AICTE/ PCI approved institutes, Central/ State/ Deemed/ Private universities and industry professionals are eligible.
REGISTRATION
Limited to 40 participants only on first come first serve basis as per eligibility. A registration fees of Rs. 1000/- will be charged, which will be refunded after successful completion of FDP.
