Name of the Funding Agency & Grant Project Title: Department of Biotechnology – Establishment of Multi-Centric and Interdisciplinary Cancer Immunotherapy Network (CIN) for the Design & Development of Novel Indigenous, Affordable Cell Therapy Products for Cancer in India.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Mandatory
Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology and
Four (4) years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
OR
Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS from a recognized
university or equivalent.
Preferred Experience-
Candidates with any of the following relevant experience (even 1–2) will be given preference:
Immunoengineering Techniques: Experience in the engineering of viral backbones and vector design
strategies, molecular cloning,
Animal Handling and Surgical Skills: Prior experience in preclinical tumor models, particularly murine
models, including animal dosing, tumor implantation, imaging, and necropsy.
Cell Culture & Viral Vector Handling: Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, including maintenance of
both adherent and suspension cell lines, transfection and viral transduction.
Computational Skills: Familiarity with gene editing technologies, including CRISPR-Cas9, and the use
of in silico tools and sequence analysis.
SALARY: Rs. 62,230/-p.m. (Rs. 49,000/- + 27% HRA).
DURATION: 6 months with further extension depending on satisfactory performance.
