Post Name: Team Member – Launch Execution
Job Purpose:
To drive end-to-end execution of new product launches for assigned geographies, ensuring timely delivery, commercial success, and alignment with revenue targets. The role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams (CFTs), customers, and business partners to achieve operational excellence in launch execution and post-launch performance tracking
Key Accountabilities (1/6):
Execution of product launches
Ensure on-time launches (especially Day 1 launches) for different Channels (DTM, B2B, Hospital, Specialty)
Preparing the project chart in alignment with all functions (IPD , Quality, SCM, Country managers )and track all stage gates.
Preparing Approvals and Launch plans (MSP/ Gantt charts) with critical pathways and milestone activities
Scheduling and lead regular Launch Readiness Reviews with CFTs and drive the MoMs
Driving AMT, BTBR, Variations , EU and UK TPLs and coordination with QP
Tracking challenges, escalate when needed, ensure resolution to maintain timeline/budget
Leadership drive for any technical support required from IPD for any challenges during GAP analysis to Launch
Coordination with all CFTs : Act as single point‐of‐accountability for the launch project

Day 1 launch success
Drive compliance with commercial team definitions for successful Day 1 launches:
DTM (Retail & Hospital)- 1st pack sold from Cipla 3PL to financial customer on Day 1 as highlighted by commercial teams
Specialty- 1st pack sold from Cipla 3PL to financial customer on Day 1 as highlighted by commercial teams
B2B- Day 1 sale to customer (as per the agreement execution date)
Key Accountabilities (3/6):
Operational Readiness
Ensure adequate lead time for PO processing, manufacturing, logistics, QA release, and regulatory compliance. Factor in PBS listing timelines (3-9 months) as required.

Inventory & Forecast Management
Ensure stock availability during launch and maintain safety stock levels for continuous supply. Prevent stockouts in the first year post-launch.

Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Launch Project Management, SCM Launch Team, Business Planning, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Material Planning to ensure seamless execution.

Business Performance Tracking
Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets from new product launches. Track business forecasts, actual revenues, and provide management updates.
Data & Analytics:
Maintain launch performance trackers, analyze on-time delivery, and highlight improvement areas to accelerate launches.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to expedite launch timelines, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance launch execution efficiency.

Adhering to strict launch timelines: Managing dependencies across multiple teams and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements.
Stock Availability & Forecasting: Ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and wastage.
Process Coordination: Managing cross-functional teams, aligning priorities, and troubleshooting unexpected delays.
Regulatory Compliance: Navigating the regulatory landscape, including PBS listing timelines and MA approval complexities.

Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in science/pharmacy/biotechnology (preferred).
MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (preferred)
Relevant Work Experience:
3-6 years in in pharmaceutical / biotech / life sciences industry, specifically in product development, product launches, or project management, Launch Excellence, Business Planning, Demand/Supply Planning, Material Planning, Capacity Planning, or Commercial Excellence
Experience required with regulatory submissions & approvals in multiple European countries
Good presentation and Commercial skills and awareness on ,SS Clause , MA , DCP, NF, market access, reimbursement, competitive landscape
Experience in DTM launches preferred
Working in product development (IPD) or similar integrated functions is an added advantage
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with project management tools/software
Strong MS Excel & Analytical Skills
Knowledge of forecasting tools / demand planning, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Pharma domain
SAP experience (preferred)
Experience with Regulatory / Quality systems and artwork / packaging process
